Catch 49's longline-caught Alaska halibut was harvested in the Gulf of Alaska in October 2021 by the F/V Captain Cook and processed by Kachemak Bay Seafoods in Homer, Alaska. 

Malcolm Milne, the owner and captain of the fishing vessel Captain Cook, is a resident of Homer Alaska, where he lives with his wife and two small children. He has fished the salmon, halibut and black cod fisheries since 1994 and owned the Captain Cook since 2009.
